July 19, 2003: Nick Walls (Wauwatosa East) snapped a tie in the 79th minute as Milwaukee Wave United beat the Cincinnati Riverhawks 3-2 in a USL A-League match in Wilder, Kent. Greg Howes scored in the ninth minute and set up Digital Takawira's goal in the 15th as Wave United got back to the .500 mark at 8-8 – they ended up winning 11 of their final 13 matches and finished their inaugural season with the best record in the league at 18-10.
