July 23, 2003: Greg Howes scored in the 10th and 19th minutes as the A-League's Milwaukee Wave United cruised past Bavarian SC 4-1 in a third-round match of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at at Uihlein Soccer Park. Dino Delevski and Digital Takawira added goals in an 8-minute span midway through the second half as a crowd of 4,163 watched a rare Milwaukee Derby match between professional and amateur teams. It was the first loss of the season for the Bavarians (23-1-1), who avoided the shutout when Dominic DaPra (Racine St. Catherine's/UW) scored in the 85th minute.
