July 29, 2006: Anthony Chimienti scored in the 71st minute and Alfredo Renteria added another goal in stoppage time as the Sacramento Knights blanked the Princeton-56ers 2-0 in the National Premier Soccer League final in front of 1,351 at Breese Stevens Field in Madison. The Princeton-56ers, who would later be re-named as the Madison 56ers, finished 12-2-4 in their second season in the national amateur league.
