July 22, 2012: Substitute Ramon "Choko" Alvarado (Franklin) scored in the 119th minute as the Croatian Eagles outlasted California's PSA Elite 3-2 after extra time in the U.S. Adult Soccer Association National Open Cup final at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill., to claim the club's first national championship. Jason Willan (Menomonee Falls) and Philip Surprise (Milwaukee Pius) also scored for Croatians, who celebrated the club's 90th anniversary a day earlier.
