July 18, 2003: Bavarian SC posted two 3-2 extra-time victories in U.S. Adult Soccer Association National Cup semifinals at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee, with the winning goal coming in the 116th minute in each match. Jake Provan (Cudahy/UW-Milwaukee) scored the winner in the team's win over Connecticut's Bridgeport Italians in the Open Cup semifinals in the morning, and Brian Doherty (UW) did the same that night as the Bavarians got past New Jersey's Kearny Scots in the Amateur Cup.
