July 14, 1985: Jimmy Banks (Milwaukee Custer) scored in the 51st and 58th minutes, sandwiched around Bob Spielmann's 54th-minute goal, as Bavarian SC rallied past host Milwaukee Serbians 3-1 to win the Wisconsin Soccer Association Major League title. The first match in the two-leg finals series finished 0-0. Tunji Akiwowo (UW-Milwaukee) opened the scoring for the defending champion Serbians in the 42nd minute.
