July 2, 1981: In a bizarre move, the Edmonton Drillers of the North American Soccer League re-hired Timo Liekoski as coach, just 10 days after they had fired the former UW-Milwaukee coach. The Drillers ended up last in the Northwest Division with a 12-20 record.
