Andrew Stadler (Wauwatosa West) returned to the lineup for Sandvikens IF and scored another goal, but couldn't help the team get a win.

Stadler, who missed four games because of a hamstring injury suffered May 19, gave Sandvikens the lead in the 49th minute Saturday but visiting Valsta Syrianska IK came back for a 3-2 victory in a Division 1 Norra match in Sweden.

The 25-year-old Stadler is tied for eighth in the third-division league with four goals in seven matches for Sandvikens (1-6-4), which has lost four straight games to fall into last place in the 14-team league.

Defender Greg Rosenthal (UW-Milwaukee) played the full match for Valsta Syrianska (3-7-1) – he's played every minute through 11 matches for the team, which is 10th in the league after being promoted as the Division 2 Norra Svealand champions in 2012.

  • Leslie Osborne (Brookfield/Waukesha Catholic Memorial) scored her first goal for her new team, helping the Chicago Red Stars tie the Western New York Flash 2-2 in a National Women's Soccer League match Wednesday night in Lisle, Ill. The 30-year-old Osborne headed in a corner kick by Lori Chalupny in the 40th minute to give the home team a 2-1 lead, but the Flash found an 89th-minute equalizer to extend their unbeaten streak to seven (5-0-2).
  • A former Wisconsin pro player saw his Major League Soccer record broken over the weekend. Real Salt Lake midfielder Kyle Beckerman committed two fouls in Saturday night's 2-0 win over the Seattle Sounders, giving him 478 career fouls – Jesse Marsch (Racine Case) set the previous mark of 477 during his 14-year MLS career with D.C. United, Chicago Fire and Chivas USA.
