June 29, 2008: Aaron Lauber (Franklin/UW) scored the game-winning goal in the 75th minute as the Croatian Eagles beat St. Louis Scott Gallagher 2-1 in the U.S. Adult Soccer Association Region II Amateur Cup final in Bowling Green, Kent., to earn a spot in the national semifinals in Tukwila, Wash. Lauber scored again in the semifinals, but Maryland's Baltimore Colts scored a 90th-minute goal to pull out a 2-1 victory over the Croatians.
