June 22, 1966: Dieter Koulman had a hat trick and the legendary Gerd Müller added two goals in a six-goal second half as Bayern Munich routed the Bavarian Blue Ribbons 9-0 in an international friendly in front of 2,000 fans at Bavarian Field. Dieter Brenninger, Rudolf Grosser and Peter Werner scored in the opening 45 minutes and Koulman and Müller had two goals apiece in an 8-minute span for Bayern Munich, who played in Milwaukee less than three weeks after winning the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) and finishing third in their first season in the Bundesliga.
