It looks like J.C. Banks (Milwaukee Riverside/UW-Green Bay) is starting to round back into form.
Banks, who led USL PRO with eight assists for the Rochester Rhinos last season before suffering a torn ACL in his knee, was named to the league's Team of the Week after his performance last Friday.
The 23-year-old Banks set up the Rhinos' goal in a 1-1 draw against the Montreal Impact Reserves, serving in a cross from the right side that Tam McManus finished in the 19th minute. It was his 13th assist in his three seasons with Rochester, tied for eighth in team history.
Banks played 61 minutes in his fourth start and eighth appearance of the year for the Rhinos (1-7-4), who are 12th in the 13-team league.
