Tony Sanneh

June 16, 2000: Tony Sanneh (UW-Milwaukee) had his No. 9 jersey retired by the Milwaukee Rampage in a pre-game ceremony, then played the full 90 minutes as the USL A-League team tied Polish first division club Ruch Chorzow 3-3 in an international friendly watched by 4,682 at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee. Sanneh started his professional career with the Rampage in 1994, scoring 14 goals and adding 13 assists in the team's first season. The friendly appearance was approved by German club Hertha Berlin, Sanneh's club at the time.
