June 10, 2009: Jed Hohlbein (Middleton/UW) came off the bench and scored the winning goal, breaking a scoreless tie in the 72nd minute as VfB Süsterfeld beat FC Körle 2-0 to earn promotion to the German Sixth Division. VfB Süsterfeld needed the victory to win the four-team, round-robin promotion tournament for a spot in the Verbandsliga North for the 2009-10 season. Hohlbein had 13 goals in 16 appearances for the Kassel club.
