June 8, 2009: An early own goal and a strike by Kristyn Gawin (Middleton) in the 41st minute sent the MYSC Lady Blues past FC St. Louis 2-0 at Breitenbach Stadium in the Middleton team's inaugural Women's Premier Soccer League match. The Lady Blues won the Midwest Division title and advanced to the national semifinals in what proved to be their only season in the WPSL.
