FC Milwaukee's teams in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy wrap up their seasons Saturday with rescheduled matches against Internationals in Medina, Ohio.
The Nationals' Under-15/16 team (10-13-3) is sixth in the 13-team Central Conference Mid-America Division.
The trio of Marcus McCrary (Madison La Follette), Reid Stevenson (Sturgeon Bay) and Nicholas Moon (Waukesha West) have combined for 31 of the team's 42 goals – McCrary leads the way with 14 goals, strike partner Stevenson has 11 in 19 matches and Moon has added six out of the midfield.
Meanwhile, the FC Milwaukee Under-17/18 side is 4-19-3 and 11th in the division heading into its finale.
Nikola Atlija (Franklin) has scored a team-high six goals, fellow midfielder Driton Zyteja (Sun Prairie) – a Marquette recruit – has added four and defender Tyler Saad (Madison La Follette) has scored three goals.
Next season, the Development Academy will add a third age group, with Under-13/14 teams joining the league.
