Tosaint Ricketts (UW-Green Bay) was named to Canada's provisional roster for this summer's CONCACAF Gold Cup.

The 25-year-old striker, who plays professionally for Norwegian club Sandnes Ulf, has five goals in 21 caps.

He's one of 35 players on the provisional roster announced Friday who will participate in a 10-day camp in Oxnard, Calif., before Canada finalizes a 23-player roster for the tournament.

Canada faces Martinique on July 7 in Pasadena, Calif., Mexico on July 11 in Seattle and Panama on July 14 in Denver in Group A of the regional championship. The top two teams from each of the three groups advance to the quarterfinals along with the two highest-seeded third-place finishers.

Canada won the Gold Cup in 2000, advanced to the semifinals in 2002 and '07 and made the quarterfinals in 2009.
