May 30, 2001: David Hayes, on loan from Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire, scored his seventh goal of the season in the 24th minute as the Milwaukee Rampage tipped the rival Minnesota Thunder 1-0 in an A-League match in St. Paul, Minn., to clinch its first U.S. Open Cup berth in three years.
