May 17, 1992: Defender Mike Huwiler (Wauwatosa/Milwaukee Marquette) played the full 90 as the U.S. Under-23 men's national team lost to Canada 2-1 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, in the final match of CONCACAF Olympic qualifying. It was the lone loss in 10 qualifiers for the U.S. (8-1-1), which already had clinched a berth in the Barcelona Games.
