May 16, 2003: Marshall Morehead (UW/Marquette) scored in the 31st and 72nd minutes as the Minnesota Thunder blanked 10-man Milwaukee Wave United 2-0 in front of 3,019 fans at Uihlein Soccer Park – and a nationwide audience on Fox Sports World – spoiling Wave United's inaugural USL A-League match. Wave United, whose roster included players from the Wave indoor team, finished 18-10-0 and won the Western Conference Central Division regular-season title in the first of its two seasons.
