Six coaches from German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, including academy director Roman Klossek, will join Milwaukee-area coach Andreas Davi for a week-long camp next month in Menomonee Falls.

The inaugural German Fit Soccer Camp runs from June 17 to 21 at Schwabenhof, home of Milwaukee Sport Club, but the camp is not affiliated with a club.

Davi previously coached at Bavarian SC and organized similar camps the past few years. However, Davi recently left the Glendale club and started German Fit, a personal training business that includes soccer-specific training.

Klossek and Davi, a Leverkusen native who came through the Bayer program, will be joined by Christian Luthardt, the mental coach and sport psychologist for the Bundesliga team; Kai Braun, athletic coach; Steven Long, Under-19 assistant coach; Daniel Noellgen, Under-14 coach; and Peter Quast, a former Leverkusen player who is the club's Under-13 coach.

The Under-13 through Under-18 sessions for the camp will run from 8:30 to 11 a.m., with Under-8 through Under-12 sessions from noon to 2:30 p.m. The Under-15 through Under-18 groups will include time with Luthardt and Braun focused on helping athletes perform their best at tryouts.

The cost of the camp is $225. For more information or to register, visit the event website.
