FC Wisconsin Eclipse teams combined for three wins and two draws in 12 matches at the Elite Clubs National League National Showcase Event last weekend in Phoenix.

The Under-16 side came up with two of those victories, beating Alabama's Birmingham United 2-1 in their opener Saturday and California's Pleasanton Rage 2-0 in Monday's finale, with a 2-0 loss to California's Strikers FC sandwiched in between.

Gaby Dorsey (Hartford) scored three of FC Wisconsin Eclipse's four goals on the weekend, while Mariah Downs (Whitefish Bay) was involved in both goals against Pleasanton Rage with a goal and an assist.

FC Wisconsin Eclipse's Under-18 team didn't score in either of its first two matches, as they were thumped by Arizona's SC Del Sol 6-0 before a 0-0 tie with the Texas Rush on Sunday, but finished with a flourish.

Jamie Karch (Germantown) scored twice and Gabrielle Kiefer (Appleton North) andIngrid Mortonson (Milwaukee DSHA) scored in a 4-1 rout of FC Dallas on Monday, while midfielder-forward Anna Jurkin (Waukesha Catholic Memorial) stepped between the posts and didn't allow a goal in the second half after replacing injured goalkeeper Michela Ongaro (Hartland Arrowhead).

The Under-15 team, with five members of the club's Under-14 team playing up, tied Arizona's Sereno SC 0-0 in its first match, then dropped a 3-1 decision to California's Mountain View Los Altos SC and lost to San Juan SC 2-0 on Monday. And the Under-17 team lost all three of its games, falling 3-0 to Texas' Challenge SC, 2-1 to Las Vegas Premier and 4-0 to California's De Anza Force.

The only FC Wisconsin Eclipse team in action this weekend is the Under-14 team, which will be playing in an ECNL Inter-Conference event in Rockford, Ill. All four teams return to Midwest Conference play against partner club Eclipse Select from Illinois on Oct. 14 at the FC Milwaukee Complex in Germantown.
