The first "Eclipse Derby" will have to wait a few weeks.

FC Wisconsin Eclipse's Elite Clubs National League matches against Eclipse Select scheduled for last Sunday at the FC Milwaukee Complex in Germantown were postponed due to inclement weather and rescheduled for Nov. 4.

The Wisconsin club, in its first year of existence, is an independent affiliate of the Illinois club. The teams' first matchups against one another now will be Oct. 28 in Oak Brook, Ill.

A week earlier, FC Wisconsin Eclipse's Under-14 side won two of three matches in an ECNL Inter-Conference Event in Rockford, Ill., an event featuring teams from the Midwest, Texas and Mountain conferences.

Lindsey WeissGrace Karegeannes (Mequon Homestead) and Camille Davre (Whitefish Bay) scored in a 3-0 victory over Texas' Albion Hurricanes on Oct. 6, while Mikaela Hoard (Mequon Homestead) scored both goals in a 2-1 comeback with over Oklahoma's Tulsa SC later in the day. FC Wisconsin Eclipse (3-2-0) allowed two late goals and dropped 2-0 decision to FC Dallas in its final match on Oct. 7.

All five FC Wisconsin Eclipse teams head to Michigan this weekend, with matches Saturday against the Michigan Hawks in Livonia and Vardar in Pontiac.
