Milwaukee Wave teammates Nick Vorberg and Luan Oliveira were honored by the Major Indoor Soccer League for the second consecutive day.

Vorberg was named the league's Goalkeeper of the Year for the second time, while Oliveira was lauded as Rookie of the Year.

Team management and selected media members voted on the individual honors, which were announced Wednesday in Kansas City. Milwaukee's Keith Tozer was a finalist for Coach of the Year, but that award went to the Baltimore Blast's Danny Kelly for the third time in the past four seasons.

The 38-year-old Vorberg, who was named to the All-MISL first team on Tuesday, led the MISL in points-against average (7.76) and save percentage (.815). Vorberg also claimed the award in the 2009-10 season; only one other Wave player has been so honored: Victor Nogueira, who was Goalkeeper of the Year nine times.

Oliveira led MISL rookies and ranked seventh in the league with 68 points, tied for the team lead with 25 goals and tied for second on the team with 16 assists. The Brazilian made the All-MISL second team and the All-Rookie team on Tuesday, and is just the second Milwaukee player named Rookie of the Year – Marco Terminesi won the award in the Xtreme Soccer League's lone season, 2008-09.
