The Cedarburg prep girls soccer team gave up its first goals since March and saw its perfect season come to an end this week, but it didn't cost the Bulldogs their No. 1 ranking in the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Division 1 state poll.

Hartford tied Cedarburg 3-3 in a non-conference match Thursday night, snapping the Bulldogs' eight-game shutout streak that dated to their 2-1 victory over Appleton North in a season opener back on March 29.

Waunakee (14-0-2), which had won eight in a row – with clean sheets in the past five – moved up a spot to No. 2 in Division 1, while Germantown was up two places to third.

Whitefish Bay leaped into the rankings at No. 8 on the strength of an eight-game unbeaten streak (7-0-1), a stretch in which the Blue Knights have outscored opponents 34-1 and posted seven consecutive shutouts.

Waukesha Catholic Memorial and Menasha St. Mary Central remained atop the division 2 and 3 polls, respectively.

Ashland (12-0-1) – which has a 69-3 goal differential this season – moved up from honorable mention to No. 4 in Division 2, while La Crosse Aquinas returned to the Division 3 poll at No. 5 after being honorable mention a week ago.

  • Cedarburg moved up six spots to No. 38 in the ESPNHS Powerade Fab 50 national rankings, while Waunakee made its season debut at No. 47. The teams are first and second in the website's Wisconsin rankings, with Appleton North third.
