Long after the prep boys soccer season ended, the honors keep coming for Patrick Hodan.

The Milwaukee Marquette senior forward was named to the ESPNHS Fall All-America team, earning a spot on the 12-member first team. He was one of four forwards on the top squad.

The 5-foot-9 Hodan – a Notre Dame recruit – scored 45 goals and added 10 assists for the Hilltoppers (24-0-1) last fall, helping lead Marquette to its second straight WIAA Division 1 state title. The team finished the season ranked third in the ESPNHS Powerade Fab 50 and fourth in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America national poll.

Hodan previously was lauded as an NSCAA All-American, an NSCAA Scholar All-American, the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Player of the Year, the Gatorade Wisconsin Player of the Year, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Player of the Year and the Greater Metro Conference Player of the Year.

ESPNHS also announced "State Stars" teams, based on recommendations from coaches and media members in addition to observations by Sheldon Shealer, the website's soccer editor. Here's the 11-member Wisconsin team:
