The 31st annual WIAA boys soccer state tournament kicks off Thursday with the Division 1 quarterfinals at Time Warner Cable Field at Milwaukee's Uihlein Soccer Park.

If you can't make it to Milwaukee, Fox Sports Wisconsin will provide a live stream of the matches online. Here's a look at the eight sides hoping to raise the gold ball after the Division 1 state final Saturday afternoon.

Junior forward Shaw Storey lead the team with seven assists. ... Sophomore goalkeeper Dan Dombrowski has allowed just nine goals, and made two saves in the shootout against West.

Kenosha Bradford Red Devils

Record: 20-4-1 (6-1-0 Southeast Conference, second). Last 10 games: 8-0-2.

State tournament history: Third appearance, following berths in 1982 and 2010.
From the touchline: Won two of three regular-season matches against fellow state qualifiers, beating Brookfield East 2-1 and Kettle Moraine 3-2 and losing to Eau Claire Memorial 4-2. ... Lost to Kenosha Tremper 2-1 on Oct. 2, but avenged that loss with a 2-0 victory in last Saturday's sectional final. ... Posted shutouts in all three postseason games. ... The duo of junior striker Johnny Rimkus and senior midfielder Zach Reget make the attack go – Rimkus has 26 goals and 17 assists and Reget has 22 goals and 21 assists. ... From the touchline: Have gone 17-1-1 in past 19 matches after losing three of first four games. ... Outscored four playoff foes by a 31-2 margin. ... Two losses came to state qualifiers, falling to Division 1 quarterfinalist Kimberly 6-1 on Aug. 21 and to Division 2 semifinalist Appleton Xavier 3-1 on Sept. 29. Also topped Brookfield East 3-1 and drew 1-1 with Kettle Moraine. ... Kettle Moraine Lasers

State tournament history: Third appearance, second in a row. Lost to Milwaukee Marquette 6-0 in the state final last year.
From the touchline: Cruised through first three playoff matches, outscoring opponents 23-1, before outlasting fourth-ranked Muskego 3-2 on penalty kicks following a 1-1 draw in the sectional final. ... Have played four of the other state qualifiers, beating Oregon 1-0 in overtime, losing to Brookfield East 2-1 and Kenosha Bradford 3-2 and tying Neenah 1-1. ... Only five seniors on the roster, but two of them – goalkeeper Kyle Ihn and defender Kevin Winter – have committed to play at UW-Green Bay next season. ... Ihn, who succeeded current Marquette freshman Mac Wheeler between the posts, has 11 shutouts. ... State tournament history: Record-tying 16th appearance and third in a row. Lost to Middleton 1-0 in the quarterfinals last year. Won state titles in 1995 and '97; runner-up in 1982, '87, '89, '93, '99, 2003 and '06.
From the touchline: Solid playoff run despite losing four straight games and five of seven to close the regular season. ... Three of their losses have been against state qualifiers, falling 2-1 to Kenosha Bradford and dropping 3-1 decisions to both Neenah and Milwaukee Marquette. Posted a 2-1 victory over Kettle Moraine. ... Veteran roster features 18 seniors. ... Forwards Jonathan Stone (8-1) and John Orgovan (5-1), midfielder Ryan Toy (6-1) and defender Ben Kosmider (4-3) – all seniors – are the leading scorers, while sophomore Drew Johnson has played all but 40 minutes in goal. ... Stone persevered through an injury-plagued career – he tore the ACL in his right knee in 2009, tore his hip flexor during the 2010 season and tore the ACL and meniscus in his left knee a few weeks before the 2011 season.

Eau Claire Memorial
