The U.S. Under-23 women's national team closed out its 2011 schedule with a 1-1 draw with host Sweden last Tuesday in Kopparvallen, and it's no surprise UW-Milwaukee forward Sarah Hagen (Appleton North) had the lone U.S. goal.

Hagen scored on a header in the 60th minute after the Swedes failed to clear a corner kick. It was her eighth goal of the year for the Under-23s – the team scored 15 goals in its six international matches and Hagen played a role in 10 of them.

Hagen played the full 90 minutes up top for the U.S., which gave up the equalizer on a 30-yard blast in the 79th.
