A third Wisconsin player will be part of the U.S. Youth Soccer Boys ODP Thanksgiving Interregional next week in Chula Vista, Calif.

Wind Lake midfielder Luke Prpa (North Shore United) was one of 36 players named to the U.S. Under-14 national team for the event, which starts Wednesday and runs through Nov. 28 at the Olympic Training Center.

The national team players will be split into two sides for the games against Olympic Development Program teams from each of the country's four regions. Each of the teams will play one game on Nov. 25, 26 and 27.

Depending on which team he plays for, Prpa could face off against Vuk Latinovich of the Milwaukee Kickers, who will be playing for the 1997 Region II team. Latinovich's squad is scheduled to play the Under-14 Red team, in addition to matches against the Region IV and Region III sides.

Jack Shaw of Bavarian SC, meanwhile, is part of the 1998 Region II team that will take on each of the three other regional sides.
