Mark Litton (Racine St. Catherine's/UW-Parkside) will coach a U.S. team at the Under-19 Stuttgart Junior Cup this weekend in Germany.
The indoor tournament at the Crystal Palace Arena features 15-minute mini-games of 6v6 soccer on a 50 x 30-meter field with no walls.
The U.S. is the only national team in the event and will play in Group A along with club teams Lechia Danzig (Poland), VfB Stuttgart (Germany) and FSV Mainz 05 (Germany). Group B consists of Lazio (Italy), Celtic (Scotland), SC Freiburg (Germany) and Hamburger SV (Germany).
Litton is the goalkeeper coach for the U.S. Futsal national team and the Milwaukee Wave of the Major Indoor Soccer League and serves in the same capacity as a volunteer for the UW-Milwaukee men's program.
