Milwaukee Wave midfielder Matt Stewart scored two goals as the U.S. Futsal national team went 3-1-0 in friendlies against four Guatemalan professional teams during a recent training camp.

The U.S. squad, led by Wave coach Keith Tozer, was preparing for next month's CONCACAF Futsal Championship in Guatemala City. The tournament is July 2 to 8, with the four semifinalists earning berths in the FIFA World Cup.

Stewart opened the scoring as the Americans beat Legendarios FC 4-1 on June 4 and added another in a 6-4 victory over Farmaceuticos the next day. The U.S. also lost to reigning Guatemala Futsal League champion Aquasistemas 7-2 and doubled up La Academia FC 6-3 during the trip.
