Wind Lake's Luka Prpa is headed back to the Home Depot Center.

The North Shore United defender is one of 36 players chosen to participate in a U.S. Under-14 boys national team training camp under the direction of coach Hugo Perez from July 29 to Aug. 5 in Carson, Calif.

This will be the fourth national team camp in the past year for Prpa.

  • The U.S. Under-20 national team lost to Denmark 1-0 in its opener of the Northern Ireland Milk Cup on Saturday in Limavady. University of Wisconsin defender AJ Cochran is on the U.S. roster; a lineup for the match wasn't immediately available. The Americans close group play Monday against Turkey in Ballymena, then wrap up the tournament with a placement match against Northern Ireland, Chile or Mexico on Thursday.
  • Cochran scored the first goal for the Under-20 team in a 4-2 loss to the Liverpool Reserves on Thursday in England, finishing off a header off a corner kick. Marc Pelosi, an 18-year-old from California, scored the second goal for the Reds.
