Hartland's  Rebecca Hall was named the U.S. Youth Soccer Region II Female Young Referee of the Year for 2008.

She was one of four finalists for the national award and was honored at the U.S. Youth Soccer Workshop and Awards Gala last week in San Jose, Calif.

Hall also was selected the state's Female Young Referee of the Year — she and Tyler Cox, the state's Male Young Referee of the Year, were recognized at the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association annual general meeting late last month in Madison.
