Age: 26.

Hometown: Janesville. Now lives in Madison.

Occupation: Financial adviser.

Current teams: Indoor — Club Tavern. Outdoor — Prank Monkeys. She's been playing with them for about three years.

How long have you been playing?: Started when she was 5 or 6 years old, played through high school at Janesville Craig. Played one session of indoor while in college before joining her current team.

Favorite rec soccer moment: (Teammate Tara Tuinstra offers up: "When I asked you to play on our team." But Winn goes with:) "The first time I ever wore shorts, everybody was really surprised, because they thought I had robotic legs because I always wore pants. (So you usually wear pants?) No. But I did when I first started playing all the time. (A male teammate notes: "I didn't like that." To which Winn says:) "I didn't know these guys that well."

Boots: New adidas cleats, ones that still have a little bit of shine to them. "I always have adidas. I got them this summer."

Best player you've played with or against: Chris Brickman and Tara Tuinstra (both teammates).

Why do you play? "I just really like to play soccer. I think it's a good way to ... I like to go out afterwards." (On the back of the team's shirts is the phrase, "Saving the world, one jager-bomb at a time.")

Do you have an on-field pet peeve? "Getting a mouthful of rubber pellets. I don't like that — it happened tonight. But the rubber pellets are very nice compared to the indoor-outdoor carpeting they had before."

Are you a soccer fan? If so, any specific teams or leagues? "Italy. I watched (the World Cup). I'm a huge fan," she says, laughing.

Does your team have a rival? "Who beat us last week? That wasn't fair."

What aspect of your game needs work? "Probably making contact with the ball, because I missed it a bunch tonight."
