Who's the best player you've played with or against? "I actually spent a week with the San Diego Spirit when they were around, so I played with Julie Foudy and Joy Fawcett. (How did you get that opportunity?) My uncle was a big radio rep and knew one of their managers, and I was in town for a soccer training camp, so the camp did something with the team. (It was the) summer before my freshman year of college. It was awesome."
Why do you play? "I love it, it's a good workout. It keeps me out of trouble. (Do you play other sports?) I just work out a lot."
Do you have an on-field pet peeve? "I don't like it when people cut the ball back in to where they came from, like back into the person."
Are you a soccer fan? Do you follow a specific soccer league or club? "I don't really get into that. I just follow the USA, if they're on, I'll watch them. I don't follow the Premier League every year or anything like that."
Does your team have a rival? No.
What aspect of your game needs work? "Fitness – always. (You said you like to score goals, do you do that?) I haven't today, so I'm due."
