Milwaukee WaveThe streaks continue for Marcio Leite and the Milwaukee Wave.

Leite scored his team-leading eighth and ninth goals of the season, and five other players also had a hand in two goals apiece as the Wave scored 13 straight points en route to a 15-4 rout of the Wichita Wings in a Major Indoor Soccer League match watched by 3,355 fans Friday night at U.S. Cellular Arena.

Leite has scored in all seven games for defending MISL champion Milwaukee (7-0), which beat Wichita for the third time and improved to 6-0 at home.

The Wave fell behind after Larry Inlow scored for the Wings (3-6) just 2:47 into the game, but rattled off the next six goals, going ahead 13-2 on Leite's second of the night 36 seconds into the fourth quarter.

Midfielders Tom Oatley and Ian Bennett and forwards Guiliano Oliveiro and Greg Howes all had a goal and an assist for Milwaukee, while midfielder Matt Stewart added two assists and forward Nick Perera pitched in with a 3-pointer.

Goalkeeper Marcel Feenstra made eight saves to win his fourth start of the season for the Wave, who are off for 11 days before playing Dec. 27 at the Rochester Lancers in just their second road game of the season.
