Matt Pyzdrowski (Marquette) made two saves in his fifth clean sheet of the season as Ängelholms FF extended its unbeaten streak to six with a 1-0 victory over host Hammarby in Sweden's Superettan on Monday.
Ängelholms FF, which reaches the midpoint of the season Saturday, improved to 7-3-4 and pulled within one point of league leader Degerfors IF in the second division.
Pyzdrowski, who's played every minute in goal for Ängelholms FF, has lowered his goals-against average to 1.21.

Scott Lorenz (UW) played the full 90 minutes at left back as host Sporting Kansas City beat the Chicago Fire PDL 3-0 in a third-round match of the U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday night. Sporting KC will play host to the Richmond Kickers of USL Pro in the quarterfinals on July 12. Creighton's Andrew Ribeiro (Green Bay Notre Dame) logged all 90 minutes in the midfield and Marquette midfielder Calum Mallace came on at halftime in his season debut for the Fire PDL, who beat the Madison 56ers 2-0 in the second round last Wednesday.

Rochester Rhinos rookie midfielder J.C. Banks (Milwaukee Riverside/UW-Green Bay) was named to the USL Pro Team of the Week after his last-minute, game-winning goal in the Rhinos' 1-0 victory over the Dayton Dutch Lions. Banks played the final 23 minutes of host Rochester's 1-0 loss to Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire in a third-round U.S. Open Cup game Tuesday.

Striker Ashley Bares (Ozaukee/Marquette) scored once again as Stjarnan rolled past host Afturelding 4-0 in an Úrvalsdeild match Tuesday in Mosfellsbær, Iceland. It was Bares' sixth goal in seven league matches, giving her sole possession of the league lead.
