U.S. SoccerFC Milwaukee defender Brittany Von Rueden is headed south for the final U.S. Under-18 women's national team camp of the year.

Von Rueden, a Notre Dame recruit, is one of 26 players called in by U.S. Soccer women's technical director April Heinrichs for the camp Dec. 11 to 18 in Sunrise, Fla.

It's the third national team camp of the year for Von Rueden, who also was part of camps with the Under-18 team in June and October.

Von Rueden is one of the few players invited to the camp who are not age-eligible for the 2014 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Canada – she missed the cut-off for that tournament by 11 days. However, she is under consideration for the 2012 Under-20 Women's World Cup in Uzbekistan.
