FC Milwaukee defender Brittany Von Rueden was called back into camp with the U.S. Under-18 women's national team.
U.S. Soccer women's technical director April Heinrichs is overseeing the week-long camp, which starts Saturday at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. Von Rueden, a Notre Dame recruit, also was part of the Under-18 national team camp in June. All 30 players called in for the camp are age-eligible for the 2012 FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan, but coaches are looking at this group in preparation for the 2014 event in Canada – however, Von Rueden isn't eligible for that tournament, as she was born 11 days before the deadline of Jan. 1, 1994.
