U.S. SoccerFC Milwaukee defender Brittany Von Rueden was called into a U.S. Under-18 women's national team training camp June 7 to 14 in Chula Vista, Calif.

Von Rueden, who lives in Mequon and has verbally committed to play at Notre Dame in 2012, was one of 24 players named to the camp roster by coach April Heinrichs. The camp will be held concurrently with the Under-20 national team, and includes a match against the Japanese Under-20 national team on June 13.

Von Rueden has been part of two previous national team events, playing with the Under-15 national team at the ODP Thanksgiving Interregional in 2007 and participating in an Under-17/Under-15 combined camp in January 2009.
