After helping Canada win the gold medal at last month's Pan American Games in Mexico, Lauren Sesselmann (Green Bay Notre Dame) will be back training with the national team on Saturday.
The Atlanta Beat defender was one of 21 players called in for a 12-day training camp in Phoenix that includes a closed-door friendly against Sweden on Nov. 22.
Sesselmann, 28, is one of 12 players on the roster who were part of the winning Pan Am Games squad. She has earned seven caps for Canada in the past two months after receiving dual citizenship last year – her father is a native of Canada.
