 Tosaint Ricketts (UW-Green Bay) will rejoin the Canadian national team next week as it continues second-round CONCACAF qualifying for the 2014 World Cup.
Canada, which leads Group D with a perfect six points from two matches, plays at St. Lucia (0-2-0) next Friday and plays host to Puerto Rico (0-1-1) on Oct. 11 at BMO Field in Toronto. Only the group winner advances to the next round of qualifying, which includes Mexico, the United States and the region's other top-ranked sides.
Ricketts, 24, has two goals in six career caps. The international call-up means the forward will miss one Romanian second division league match for FC Politehnica Timişoara, next Saturday against FC Maramureş.
