Tosaint RickettsFC Politehnica Timişoara forward Tosaint Ricketts (UW-Green Bay) set up the final goal in Canada's 4-1 victory over St. Lucia on Friday night in a CONCACAF World Cup 2014 qualifier in Toronto.

Ricketts came into the match at BMO Field in the 69th minute, earning his fifth career cap. In stoppage time, D.C. United forward Dwayne De Rosario played a ball from the left side of the box to the far post, where Ricketts headed it back across the 6-yard box for Real Salt Lake midfielder Will Johnson to finish.

In CONCACAF Stage 2 qualifying, Canada leads Group D with three points after St. Kitts and Nevis and Puerto Rico played to a 0-0 draw. The Canadians play Puerto Rico on Tuesday in Bayamon. The group winner advances to Stage 3; the U.S. received a bye into that round of qualifying.

RedNation, an online Canadian soccer magazine, did a video interview with Ricketts during the week in which he discusses his status at Poli Timişoara, which was set to play in the Champions League this season but was relegated to the Romanian second division because of financial problems.
