The Wisconsin Masonic Soccer All-Star Games are returning to the Madison area for their 20th anniversary, set for Saturday at Firefighter Stadium in Middleton.
The matches for the state's top players in the Class of 2011 were last held in the area in 1996 and '97, when they were played at the University of Wisconsin's McClimon Complex.
They've had several homes over the years, including West Bend High School, the Bavarian Inn in Glendale, Neenah High School, Carthage College in Kenosha and most recently Marian College in Fond du Lac, the site for the past three years.
At least 11 NCAA Division I recruits are scheduled to play in this year's games.
Appleton North forward Kyle Neumann (UW-Milwaukee), Hartford midfielder Justin Laird (Wright State), Waukesha Catholic Memorial defender Eric Schoendorf (Loyola, Ill.) and Kettle Moraine Lutheran forward Dustin Page and Kohler defender Shawn Vroom, both headed to Northern Illinois, are on the boys' rosters.
A trio of UW-Green Bay recruits highlight the girls' rosters: Sugar River midfielder Hannah Kernen, Madison Memorial goalkeeper Katy Pilarzyk and Verona midfielder Abby Juzwik. All three were named to the first team of the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association all-state team last month.
Brookfield Central midfielder Gina Scaffidi (Western Illinois), Madison Memorial defender Dana Robertson (UNC Charlotte) and Catholic Memorial forward Mia Uzelac (Youngstown State) also are set to play.
The girls game kicks off at 11 a.m., with the boys match scheduled for 1 p.m. Tickets are $10.
