Two of the state's No. 1 girls soccer teams are from the same city.

Waukesha West (12-0-1) moved to the top of this week's Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Division 1 poll, joining city rival Waukesha Catholic Memorial. The Crusaders have been the state's top-ranked Division 2 team all season.

The Wolverines and Mequon Homestead traded places in the poll after the Highlanders (10-1-1) suffered their first loss of the season, 2-1 to Whitefish Bay. Waukesha West has won six straight games, the past five by shutout, including a 1-0 victory over Catholic Memorial.

Madison Memorial moved into the rankings after receiving honorable mention – the Spartans are 6-0-0 but were winless in nine non-conference matches (0-5-4) heading into this weekend's Brookfield East Tournament.

Winnebago Lutheran continued atop the Division 3 poll, which includes newcomer Kenosha Christian Life at No. 5. The Division 2 poll included the same five teams, with fourth-ranked Ashland and fifth-ranked Sugar River swapping spots from last week.
