One of the top prep girls soccer teams in Wisconsin will take on one of the best from Illinois on Friday night as Whitefish Bay plays host to St. Charles North (Ill.).
And even if you can't get to Whitefish Bay for the non-conference match, you can still watch it.
Patch will stream the game between the host Blue Dukes and the North Stars live online here, with Milwaukee-area soccer media veteran Matt Schroeder on the call. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
Whitefish Bay (3-1-0) was ranked sixth in the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Division 1 preseason state poll.
Junior forward Abby Starker had 28 goals and 17 assists last season before suffering a torn ACL in her knee during a sectional final setback against Milwaukee DSHA, and has come back strong with three goals so far this season. Senior midfielder Lydia Kaminsky, a Loyola (Ill.) recruit, had 19 goals and 12 assists for the Blue Dukes last spring.
St. Charles North (4-0-0) returned nine players from last year's team that finished third at the IHSA Class 3A state tournament and is ranked fourth in the Chicago Sun-Times area poll.
North Stars senior forward Sammy Gage, who will play with Kaminsky at Loyola, has four goals, while senior defender KK Barr is a Northwestern recruit.
