Wisconsin Soccer Coaches AssociationThe Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Division 2 state boys poll was interesting right to the end.

The final rankings of the season were released Monday, and while the division 1 and 3 polls had little movement, the Division 2 ranking once again featured plenty of changes as teams headed into the postseason.

Waukesha Catholic Memorial (10-5-1) moved up three places into the top spot, despite losing 3-2 to Waukesha West – ranked fourth in Division 1 – in its lone match last week.

Green Bay Notre Dame rose from fifth to second, Pewaukee remained third and East Troy and Appleton Fox Valley Lutheran jumped up from honorable mention to fourth and fifth, respectively. Milwaukee Thomas More and Shorewood, which were the top two teams in last week's poll, fell to honorable mention.

In Division 1, defending state champion Milwaukee Marquette (18-0-1) kept hold of the top spot it has held all season. The top eight teams remained the same for the third consecutive week, with Muskego and Kettle Moraine ascending from honorable mention to the No. 9 and 10 spots. Milwaukee Ronald Reagan and Kenosha Tremper went in the other direction.

There were no changes in the Division 3 poll, with Milwaukee St. Anthony (16-8-0) – a school that is just three years old and won't have a senior class until next fall – finishing the season at No. 1.
