Wisconsin's two girls teams in the U.S. Youth Soccer National League wrapped up play in the competition over the New Year's holiday weekend in Kissimmee, Fla., with league matches held in conjunction with the Disney Soccer Showcase.

SC Waukesha Blue posted two draws among its final three matches, and coach Pat White's team ended up tying half of its eight games as it finished sixth out of eight teams in the 18-and-Under Blue Division. Haddie Carlson (Lake Country Lutheran), who has verbally committed to Central Michigan, had two of the team's three goals on the weekend and scored four of her side's seven goals in the competition.

In 17U play, Olivia Banks (Brookfield East) had both goals as North Shore United Blue blanked Georgia's United Futbol Academy Premier 2-0 on New Year's Eve. Banks, Hailey Block (Grafton) and Sydney Robinson (Plymouth) each finished with two goals in league play for coach Joe Hammes' NSU side, which finished seventh in the Red Division.
