Three U.S. soccer legends will be in Stevens Point next summer.

Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly and Tisha (Venturini) Hoch are bringing their TeamFirst Soccer Academy camp July 22 and 23 at UW-Stevens Point's Point Soccer Bowl. The camp is open to boys and girls ages 6 to 16 and costs $300.

The camp will be a sort of a reunion, too: Hamm, Lilly and Hoch all played college soccer at national powerhouse North Carolina with UW-Stevens Point coach Dawn Crow.

The TeamFirst camps seeks to provide young players a first-class opportunity to develop as individual players within the context of playing a sport that requires a disciplined unit to perform unselfishly.

The trio of coaches earned a combined 761 caps and scored 332 goals during their illustrious careers with the U.S. national team. Lilly's 354 caps are the most for any player, man or woman, in international soccer history, while Hamm ranks third with 276. Hamm is third all-time with 158 goals, while Lilly is fourth with 130.

Hamm and Lilly were both first-ballot National Soccer Hall of Fame selections, and each won two Women's World Cup titles and two Olympic gold medals, while Hoch also was a World Cup champion and an Olympic gold medalist. All three players won four NCAA national championships with the Tar Heels.
