Three of the four defending WIAA state champions will start the 2015 prep boys season ranked atop their respective divisions.

Milwaukee Marquette (Division 1), Delavan-Darien (Division 3) and Racine Prairie School (Division 4) claimed the No. 1 spots in the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association preseason poll.

Whitefish Bay opens the year atop the Division 2 rankings, just ahead of reigning state champion Brookfield East – which beat the Blue Dukes in a sectional final last fall.

Half of the 20 teams in the preseason rankings also were ranked in the final WSCA poll last season, while 13 of the ranked sides qualified for state in 2014.
