May 20, 1951: German club Eintracht Frankfurt rolled past a Midwest All-Star team 8-0 in a friendly watched by 8,000 fans at Marquette Stadium in Milwaukee. Defender Joachim Janisch, a future national teamer, and Al Pfaff had goals in each half for the German side against the All-Stars, whose roster included fullback Walter Schroeder and halfbacks Norm Blaeski and Gene Edwards of the Milwaukee Brewers and Hungarian Tigers striker Charlie Papp.
